3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel processes personal data on our behalf as a data processor pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. The transfer of data to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in server log files:

  • Date and time of access

  • Referrer URL
  • Requested page

The processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in ensuring the stable and secure operation of the website. Log data is deleted after a short period.

To understand how the website is used, we use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly service by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. It does not use cookies and does not store personal data; visitors are counted via a short-lived anonymous hash, and IP addresses are not retained. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in measuring website reach).

5. Purchase of Digital Products

When you purchase a digital product, personal data is processed for the purpose of fulfilling the contract in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. This includes:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Billing country
  • Payment details (processed by Stripe only)

Payment processing is carried out by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland. The payment page is hosted by Stripe. Stripe may process payment-related data independently under its own privacy policy, including when you pay via Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal through Stripe. We do not store full payment details such as credit card numbers.

After payment we send the download link by email (see section 7) and record the order (name, email address, product, date) in a Google Sheet to document the purchase. Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, acts as our processor for this storage.

6. Consultation Request Form

If you send a consultation request through the form on this website, we process the data you enter (name, email address, your situation, your message) to answer your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual communication). Your request is delivered to us by email (see section 7) and stored in a Google Sheet to keep track of enquiries. Data is deleted once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply.

7. Email Delivery

Transactional emails (download links, confirmations, consultation requests) are sent via Resend, a service of Resend Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. Resend acts as our processor pursuant to Article 28 GDPR; the transfer of data to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Contact by Email

If you contact us via email, the data you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

9. Storage Duration

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes stated in this policy or as required by statutory retention periods under German law. Contract-related data (orders) may be retained for up to 10 years in accordance with commercial and tax regulations.
